Dear Gordon
Thank you so much for replying to my email, which I only saw today.I am so sad to hear that Lyn has died. I will definitely try and catch up with her husband when I visit next year.

Dear Carole,
Yes, Lyn was Fr David's wife. Sadly she died while he was REctor of Yarm in North Yorkshire. I'm sure he would be happy to see you when you next visit Whitby. All good wishes,
Gordon Reid.

Good Morning
I was reading with interest your comments about a Canon David Smith, and I wondered if he has a wife called Lyn, she was my friend many years ago and we lost touch and the last address I had for her was that she was Mrs Smith, and lived at St Peter's Rectory at Galashiels. I will be visiting England next Year, and as my family all come from Marske, and we have just recently visited and went to St Mary's at Whitby it would be lovely if I could make contact with her again.
Thank you so much
